This lens is a classic: long and fast, covering full frame, in a compact package. Known for sports and nature photography when it was introduced, it also produces stunning portraits, with beautiful out of focus backgrounds. It is quite sharp and focuses smoothly.

When used with an Super-35, APS-C, or MicroFourThirds sensor, it acts as even a longer lens. For Super-35 it is an effective 270mm; for MicroFourThirds it becomes a 360mm lens.

When used with a speed booster, it becomes a fast f/2.0 telephoto lens.
