That’s why we created the Gear Grants program: to put professional tools directly into the hands of Austin’s creative community.

Our mission is simple: to empower filmmakers of all backgrounds by removing obstacles and opening doors. Whether you’re an emerging artist working on your first short film, a student learning the craft, or a seasoned storyteller with a passion project, we believe you deserve the chance to bring your ideas to life without compromise. The Gear Grants program is about more than rentals—it’s about building a stronger, more connected creative community.

GEAR GRANT

APPLICATION

Application must be made at least 10 days before your rental dates. All awarded grants are based on the equipment list and dates submitted.

Commercial productions are not eligible for gear grants.
